Meet the M

Ohmigod. I couldn't believe it. I had a dinner with my celibrity couple neighbor "The M". Well even though I'm not a big fan of them, I have to admit that they impressed me a lot. I totally didn't expect this since I just watered my plants as my normal daily routine, and they came from nowhere and made a small talk with me, then -boom- they invited me for the dinner in the sudden. I was so excited but I had to play it cool; This reminded me a lot of one of Will & Grace episode called Swimming Pool Movie Star. Still I couldn't believe it.

Anyway the dinner went very well and I'm sure I impressed them too! I just hope that one day they will put me on one of their shows. Well they borrowed some of my DVD's, so I should get something back in return right???!!!

Fall into the Gap

I can't believe Michael Vartan did this with the Gap. Since I was completely shocked with SJP last month, I think I can cope with it this time. I should thank god that at least it's not an Old Navy ad.

PS. Oh no! I just saw Josh Duhamel on Gap's front page. Please...don't tell me Brad and Jen are next!

Well we all learn something new everyday

It's been extremely busy for the past 2 weeks with my new job and visits from friends. I have met a lot of new people and have learned a lot of new things. I meant a lot a lot, really. Here are stuffs I want to share:
- George Michael gets inspiration from Bed Supperclub for his "Amazing" video.
- Paris Hilton prefers her friends to call her as "P". My friend Tom has a bracelet that was owned by "P" which he got it as a gift from his friend. Anyway it was very cute and I was soooooo excited when I saw it. (I gotta stop this. It is getting too pathetic!)
- Most people here would assume that you are a hustler if they saw you taking Tuk Tuk taxi with a white guy. It doesn't matter how cool you look. In this case, having Adidas ringer t & A&F military cargo shorts on and carrying Jack Spade Messenger bag wouldn't help! (well duh me! nobody in this country knows Jack Spade anyway.) Thanks to Cheewin and Noi for the input. I'll try a regular cab next time.
- Money can buy everything.
- It's so damn expensive for foreigners to learn how to speak and write Thai. I paid 10 times cheaper for my Japanese class.
- Sometimes people who used to live in SF can have such a bad taste in clothes.
- Politeness to people can win you anything in this country.
- Life is tough, but staying positive would help you get through it.

Cheers.
Hope y'll have a good week!

Good day

Well nothing and nobody annoyed me during work.
I got my hair spa done.
I got a letter from my pal Jey.
I just had delicious crab fried rice for dinner.
I'm gonna rewatch The Simple Life again tonight.

I think I can call it good day.

The Simple Life

"That's hot." & " Loves it."

That's my opinion about "The Simple Life". Also you would hear Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie said those a million times on the show.

I had a chance to watch the whole season 1 plus the bonus footage on DVD. The show was fucking hysterical. I think this was just plain old campy goodness. Perhaps it appealed to my inner snob, or to my sincere desire to wear designer clothes 24/7... I don't know.

Why?

Why did Earn from show "The Star" get voted off?
Why am I so down today?
Why do people in this country walk so slow?
Why did I ever fell for a guy, even I knew that he was with someone? Stupid me.
Why is there a traffic on the express way?

Why does nobody in my family really understand me?
Why does Swensen's still continue with promotion "49 Bath Sunday"?
Why the hell do I have that damn Sunday ice creme almost every day?
Why did I feel so lonely, even though I was surrounded by a bunch of friends?
Why is there no DSL available at my complex, even though 2 ISP headquarters are located in this neighborhood?

Why the hell am I still single?
Why is it so hot here, it's already October?
Why can't we always get what we want?
But at least I know why you love me! I love you too CP.

Which Sex and the City character are you?

This is the best SATC quiz I've ever done.

I used to think that I'm a half/half mixed between Carrie and Charlotte. But it turned out that I'm 40% Miranda, 30% Charlotte, 20% Carrie, and 10% Samantha, which is surprisingly true from the analogy.

Thank god I'm only 10% Samantha!

Babbling

All I could here from new Destiny's Child's song "Lose My Breath" was Beyonce's voice. Surprised? No.

Now I'm listening to "Leave A Light On" from Belinda Carlisle which luckily I could download it online. It still rocks after 15 years. Wow it's bringing back a lot of memory(the good one) when I was a teenager. I'm thinking about buying her greatest hits album, well if the record stores here have it.

My friend Tom from SF will be here in 2 days. I'm kinda getting excited to see him. Well the thing that's getting me more excited is stuffs that I will get from my buddy Cheewin. He bought a bunch of CD singles and asked Tom a favor to bring them all for me. Gosh I love all the CD's...oops I mean Cheewin.

Friday night, I was dining out with Noi, Joo, Jom & Too. It was a buffet dinner at Landmark hotel. The food was great, except I felt like my responsibility to eat it as much as possible (I know Im a pig). Then we headed to the Irish bar at Convent road. Since my friend knew the bartenders there, I can be picky about my drinks. So I ordered Bombay Sapphire and Tonic. It was decent so I ordered another one. But the second one was....well I didn't taste any alcohol at all. I ended up ordering another draft beer just to play it safe.

Saturday, I went to Pantip mall to get my first webcam. I thought I was gonna get the cheapest one, then the sales clerk talked me into getting the more expensive one. So I ended up buying the more expensive one. Reason? It looked great; I 'm sure that the picture quality is better too but my reason of buying this is 100% based on the look! Well who's not into looks these days!

Sunday, I went to Chatuchak market (aka Weekend market) with Noi since she told me she wanted to spend money so bad and I had to help her shop. She knew I loved being a fasion guru so how could I say no to her! Anyway I love it here, especially the sections that have a bunch of stores selling vintage clothes. It's usually a hit or miss though. Sometimes I could get a bunch of stuffs, and sometimes I could get nothing from walking there the whole day. Mostly good stuffs (for vintage clothes) have been gone since Saturday afternoon so I didn't expect anything, just enjoyed snacking, chatting, and people watching which I usually see cute white guys here all the time. Anyway lucky me I managed to get a vintage orange Lacoste polo shirt which I'm planning to wear it tomorrow...yeah!

Ok I'm done now.
Peace.
